MILC — Mirrorless Interchangeable Lens Camera

A MILC (Mirrorless Interchangeable Lens Camera) is a mirrorless system camera with interchangeable lenses. Unlike DSLR cameras (Digital Single Lens Reflex), a MILC does away with the mirror reflex system and the optical viewfinder. Instead, the image is transmitted directly from the image sensor to an electronic viewfinder or an LCD screen. This type of camera is generally lighter, more compact, and offers a faster frame rate than DSLRs, while maintaining similar image quality and functionality.
