
During my kingfisher wildlife project, I was able to experience this master fisherman up close. It is always fascinating to watch this flying jewel. You might think that its bright colors would make it easy to spot, but that is not the case. It is easier to hear it than to find it visually. These photos were taken in Bavaria.
